dinner + WORSHIP

SUNDAYS @ 6:06 PM

Each week, we enjoy a meal together provided by a local church alongside our worship service. We invite you to come and experience worship that may be a little different than you're used to. Our worship is highly invitational, and at times can be challenging individually and collectively.

It has been said of the Porch that no two of our worship services are the same, and we like it that way. The best way to learn more about our services is to come experience it for yourself!

We have a summer worship schedule beginning June-August leading up to the start of classes. We have a laid back gathering every Sunday evening for anyone staying in Columbus over the summer break.

WEDNESDAYS @ 6:06 PM

Come hang out, bring your dinner, play board games and take a moment to relax at 5:30 pm.  Then join us starting at 6:06 pm as we hold a time of Bible study, prayer, & conversation on various topics that are important to our community.

Advances

FALL & WINTER

Jacob’s Porch students travel to a Hopewood Pines camp for a weekend advance once each semester. Advances got their name because we don’t retreat in our faith, we advance. They’re a great time to connect with your faith and the community. Advances are typically from Friday after class to Sunday morning so you have time to do school work before Sunday night worship when the Advance ends, and your first Advance is free.

Want to lead a conversation?

The Porch is what you bring to it. You can sign up to lead a Wednesday night “Thing” (a chance to talk or participate in any interests you might have), cook a Saturday morning breakfast, share your story during Sunday worship, and so much more. We offer this place to express each person’s unique faith journey and honor anyone willing to offer it to our community.

Feel free to talk to the Porch staff members or student leaders with any questions.
